Your Ghosts Are Mine: Expanded Cinemas, Amplified Voices
When: 19 April – 9 August 2025

This multi-screen exhibition amplifies underrepresented voices across the Global South through immersive video installations. Your Ghosts Are Mine brings together moving image works by artists exploring memory, history and identity in the postcolonial world. An evocative, layered viewing experience, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on shared trauma, healing and resilience across cultures and generations.

This deeply personal exhibition presents diverse artistic perspectives on Qatar from long-time residents, citizens and creatives. Through painting, sculpture, photography and multimedia, artists explore belonging, connection and emotional landscapes shaped by life in Qatar. Qatar, Close to My Soul offers an introspective look at home, heritage and identity within the context of a fast-changing nation.

Wafa al-Hamad: Sites of Imagination

In her debut solo museum exhibition, Qatari artist Wafa al-Hamad presents a poetic mapping of memory and imagination. Drawing from mythology, architecture and desert landscapes, her works blur the lines between real and imagined spaces. This immersive exhibition highlights al-Hamad’s unique visual language, placing her at the forefront of contemporary Qatari art.
A Landmark Showcase of Latin American Art

LATINOAMERICANO | Modern and Contemporary Art from the Malba and Eduardo F. Costantini Collections

Where: National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ)
This exhibition brings over 170 works from Malba’s collection to the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), the first major Latin American art exhibition in the WANA region. Spanning 1900 to today, the show explores identity, landscape and artistic evolution across six thematic sections.

Ultraleggera: A Design Journey with Marcello Gandini

Explore the legacy of legendary Italian designer Marcello Gandini, best known for iconic cars like the Lamborghini Miura and Countach. Ultraleggera traces Gandini’s pioneering vision across automotive design, architecture and futuristic prototypes. A journey through form, function and imagination, this design-focused exhibition reflects on how Gandini’s bold aesthetic helped shape the visual language of the 20th century and beyond.
Culinary Traditions Across Time

A Seat at the Table: Food & Feasting in the Islamic World
When: 22 May – 8 November 2025
Where: Museum of Islamic Art (MIA)
From ornate dining customs to shared meals at home, this exhibition offers a multisensory journey into the rich food cultures of the Islamic world. A Seat at the Table explores the symbolism, artistry and social significance of food through historical objects, manuscripts, ceramics and contemporary art. Visitors will discover how food connects faith, community and creativity across centuries.
